By Sea

Frequent ferry services to the UK and mainland Europe for both passengers and freight are within easy reach of The Convention Centre Dublin. Dublin Port is just minutes away, while Rosslare Harbour, with regular ferry services to Wales, France and Spain, is located just 2 hour’s drive from The CCD.

The CCD’s close proximity and direct road links to Dublin Port and Rosslare Harbour make it the perfect location for bringing in equipment or goods for your event from anywhere in Ireland, or overseas.

By Car or Taxi

The Convention Centre Dublin is just minutes away from Ireland’s M50 motorway network and Dublin’s Port Tunnel, making it easy to bring in supplies and equipment for your event. It is also next to the Samuel Beckett Bridge which spans the River Liffey, aiding access between the North and South of the city.

The CCD has its own underground car park, with over 2,000 spaces located in car parks nearby, as well as considerable on street ‘pay and display’ parking on North Wall Quay and adjoining roads.

By Rail, Tram or Bus

Conveniently located in Dublin’s Docklands, the business hub of the city, The Convention Centre Dublin can be accessed via a growing network of public transport options.

Rail and DART

The CCD is less than 10 minutes on the Luas Red Line from Dublin’s two main railway stations, Connolly and Heuston. Operated by Irish Rail, these stations serve all the major towns and cities in Ireland.

The DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) rail network runs along the coast of Dublin, from Malahide and Howth, to Bray and Graystones, providing transport from the city centre to suburban areas. Connolly, Pearse Street and Tara Street DART stations are all located about 10 minutes’ walk from The CCD.

Tram (Luas)

Luas is Dublin’s light rail transit system. There are two lines, the Green Line and the Red Line. The CCD is on the Red Line, conveniently linking to downtown Dublin and Connolly and Heuston rail stations. Major Square and Spencer Dock are the closest stops. Switch between the Red and Green lines at Abbey Street / O’Connell – GPO / Marlborough stops.

Bus

Dublin Bus offers a high frequency, easy-to-use and accessible service across all of the city centre and surrounding areas. These services include city bus services, AirlinkNitelink and DART feeder buses. Exact change, weekly tickets or top up Leapcards must be used. You can find more information on fares and tickets here.

Busáras is the central bus station in Dublin for intercity and regional bus services operated by Bus Éireann. Busáras is just 5 minutes from The CCD on the Luas Red Line and is located beside Connolly railway station.

By Bike

If you are cycling your own bike to The CCD, there are parking facilities in our car park, which you can use to secure your bike. You can access them by entering the East door to the building (adjacent to PwC) and taking the elevator to the B1 or B2 car park levels. There are bike racks outside the elevator lobbies on the East and West sides of both levels. Please note, you will require your own lock to secure your bike.

dublinbikes are the perfect way to get around the city whilst minimising your effect on the local environment. There are over 100 dublinbike stations distributed throughout the city centre, many of which are within close proximity to The CCD

By Foot

The CCD’s city centre location makes it quick and easy to reach by foot from your hotel or local accommodation. We encourage delegates to walk as it reduces your carbon footprint and is a great way to incorporate physical activity before and after your conference. Take a look at our interactive map which show the hotels and services within a 15 minute walk of The CCD.
